Dr. Pastakia is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Monroe Carrell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. His main clinical interest in oncology with a focus in pediatric neuro-oncology. He works with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal clinical care for a robust pediatric neuro-oncology program at Vanderbilt. He works with his team locally and collaborates with providers across the county to find novel and innovative therapeutics for pediatric oncology patients. Dr. Pastakia also has a strong interest in medical education and works closely with the medical students, pediatric residents, and pediatric hematology oncology fellows in furthering their education Vanderbilt.
