The 6th annual CURE ME I’M IRISH event will soon be upon us! We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the event line up.
Beer Tastings
After last year when we had 10 brewers on hand it became apparent that FIVE is our magic number. This year Backlash will again come back to pour samples along with Mayflower who has been there every year. Jack’s Abbey, Slumbrew and Notch round out this years offerings.
ENTERTAINMENT
Again this year there will be live Irish music, bagpipes, Irish Step dancing as well as the our friends from Good Times Unlimited providing DJ services for the 6th year in a row. You can have get a memorable photo with your friends in our photo booth, pose with the Word Series trophies, sample one of the above beers or get your best sing-a-long voice ready when the premier U2 cover band the Joshua Tree takes the stage.
Food & Drink
Your ticket to Cure Me gets you into the event and provides you with complimentary food – pass appetizers, sandwiches, salad, an artisan meat & cheese display, coffee station & desert. Your ticket also provides for complimentary beer & wine for our guests so as always this is a 21+ event for guests and volunteers.
But what about the prizes?
Thanks to our friends at JetBlue and the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino and Spa we will once again have a trip for 2 to Aruba up for grabs in addition to our Boston Sports Prize package and lots of other fun an exciting raffle prizes available.
So how am I helping to save kids?
The event is run by the Beat NB Cancer foundations which is a volunteer only non-profit dedicated to helping save KIDS with cancer. The proceeds support the research and clinical trials of a national group of Children’s Hospital’s called the NMTRC. Take a look at how we used the money from last year’s event to open a trial that has benefited nearly 40 kids since it opened in June of 2012.
