This weekend the 3rd grade classmate of a neuroblastoma child – who has been battling NB for over 8 years – decided to have a lemonade stand. He donated the money from his lemonade stand to BEAT NB to help his friend.
The letter below was received earlier this year and I wanted to share it with you all. Every dollar helps – every donation matters!

Beat NB Cancer Fund
To whom it may concern,
Please accept the enclosed checks for a total of $380. These checks represent the money our family would have spent on Christmas gifts this year. In the past, each year the adults in our immediate family would draw names and we would exchange gifts that way. However, this year we decided to draw for a charity to contribute to instead. We all chose a charity, put it in the hat, and then drew one out. This year, the recipient is the Beat NB Cancer Fund. We are very pleased to be able to contribute to such a worthwhile charity. The strides that Dr. Sholler has made in the fight against NB are absolutely incredible. I have followed Will (the same 3rd grade NB student mentioned above) for several years and EVERY child with NB and relapsed NB deserves to enjoy the quality of life that Will is experiencing now as well as the hope for a future.
We send our prayers and best wishes for a New Year filled with hope and promise for so many children,
LeeAnne & Jeff L. – Nebraska
Jack & Dorothy R. – Colorado
Steve & Donna R. – Colorado
