GOLD IN SEPTEMBER TO BE BENEFICIARY FOR JACOB ANDREWS FOUNDATION EVENT

First Annual Pig Out for Pediatric Cancer

DELAFIELD, WIGold In September (G9) is pleased to announce that they are partnering with the Manitowoc, Wisconsin based, Jacob Andrews Foundation, as the direct beneficiary of funds raised at the first annual Pig Out for Pediatric Cancer event.

The family friendly event is open to the public, and will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm at the Manitowoc County Expo Grounds. The “Pig Out” theme celebrates the Jacob Andrews Foundation’s Partnership with Team Fitzgerald, a father/son bowhunting team best known as the producers of the television show “Team Fitzgerald Keeping It Real!”, which can be seen on My Outdoor TV and the Sportsman Channel.

In addition to photo opportunities, Team Fitzgerald (Dan and Guy Fitzgerald) is generously donating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join them on a televised 3-day wild boar hunt for two at a Tennessee game farm.

“We are honored to be partnering with The Jacob Andrew’s Foundation for this fun family event,” notes Sarah Bartosz, President of Gold in September. “They are a strong supporter of pediatric cancer research, and it is a privilege to be the beneficiary of their fundraising efforts for Pig Out for Pediatric Cancer,” she adds.

The event features a delicious meal, as well as a variety of activities including an archery competition, pony rides, carnival games, a bounce house and auction items. Admission is $20/ adult, $10/children ages 5-17, with children under 5 free.  Tickets can be purchased online as well at the door on the day of the event. Donations are also being accepted online as well as the day of the event.
