Kelly’s Birthday!

From then to now…. Kelly has fought a long uphill battle with stage 4 neuroblastoma. She was diagnosed at 11 and reached NED (no evidence of disease) at 13. She endured countless rounds of chemo, surgeries, a stem cell transplant, radiation and antibody treatments. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to organizations like this one that have helped fund research specifically for neuroblastoma. Kelly is currently on a DFMO trial which was entirely funded by BeatNB. This trial is our hope to beat this awful disease once and for all. Before DFMO Kelly’s chance of survival was 50% now it is 88%. This is all thanks to people just like us, parents, family and friends. We need to find less toxic ways to treat our beautiful children and with government funding less than 4% it is up to us.
