7 year old Nicholas Pedone was diagnosed with stage 3 neuroblastoma just last month. Nicholas has a deep love for all sports, especially football and baseball. He has an amazing mind, memorizing all of the players of the NFL and what teams they play on! Grant Funds Neuroblastoma Vaccine

The NCI has granted MabVax a $150,000 grant towards the manufacturing and testing of the company’s neuroblastoma vaccine. MabVax is prepping for their Phase II trial for the vaccine in 2013. Developed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the vaccine could help prevent recurrent disease. We love hearing about all of these exciting developments. Good luck, MabVax! genengnews.com.
