We’ll be riding in the 4th annual Cure on Wheels bicycle ride this November 5th (2011). Last year we were signed up, and had a team of folks go, although I (Kyle, Ezra’s dad) was unable to ride as Ezra was too sick. We’re looking forward to going at it strong this year.
There’s a couple ways you can support!
1) We’ve got a team set up for those of you who would actually like to cycle with us. You can visit http://give.cureonwheels.org/goto/becauseofezra and sign up to ride (I’ll be riding the century, which is 100 miles) one of the offered routes. They have various routes available, based on your cycling experience. There’s a signup fee and a minimum fundraising goal, and then November 5th we hit the road for the ride!
2) If you’re not the cycling type, don’t have time, or won’t be around – you can also sponsor me directly at http://give.cureonwheels.org/goto/kylematthews. All money raised goes to support All Children’s Hospital in St Pete, FL, and Moffitt Cancer center in Tampa, FL. Both were a part of Ezra’s treatment.
That’s it! At the moment our team is just me – and I know there’s some Tampa cyclists who read this, so sign up! And if you’re not into cycling – pop a few bucks in the fundraising for my personal page at Cure on Wheels, and let’s keep doing everything we can for a cure.
You guys are great.
