It's September, it's time to once again GROW GOLD! Dedicated Computing has proudly been supporting the golden efforts over the last few years to recognize National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the official color of gold for children battling cancer.
Dedicated Computing is once again proud to be participating in an annual campaign to support pediatric cancer research with the Gold in September (G9) Program of Beat Childhood Cancer. The mission of Beat Childhood Cancer is to drive childhood cancer research and raise awareness, making a difference in kids' survival today. Founded by parents, the vision is to change the story for the next family by finding viable treatments and, ultimately, cures for childhood cancers.
From September 19th to 30th, DC is competing in a virtual event. This means no coins to collect to bring to the office, just a great opportunity to gather your "pennies" at home and make a clean, safe, fast donation online. By making a donation, we will be part of the grassroots community solution to funding research and finding cures for childhood cancer.
Our 2020 campaign raised $4,300, surpassing our $2,500 goal by golden lengths! This year, we are reaching even further with $1,000 goal for each team. T-shirts and other prizes will be awarded to each team that meets their goal. Support your team and let’s continue to GROW GOLD so that every child, everywhere survives and thrives!
