For kids recovering from chemotherapy, motion is medicine. Gentle movement helps rebuild strength, improve chemo-depleted white and red blood cells, boost energy, and restore confidence. Each step or activity is a reminder that life after cancer isn’t just about surviving, it’s about thriving.
But there’s another kind of motion that matters just as much.
Putting Money in Motion
For these kids to keep moving forward, we - families, communities, and supporters - need to put resources in motion. Childhood cancer research is underfunded, and progress depends on people willing to fuel the fight with action. Donations fund research and that research keeps clinical trials cutting-edge precision medicine moving forward to give kids not just a chance at survival, but at a vibrant, active life beyond cancer.
Just like kids can’t regain strength by standing still, we can’t make progress against childhood cancer by staying still. When we put money in motion, we put cures in motion.
Why It Matters
Every donation fuels discovery leading to safer, smarter treatments. Every dollar moves us closer to cures that let kids grow up strong and healthy. Every gift creates momentum for a future where hope is abundant. And every child has access to the right option, at the right time, in the right place - and as fast as humanly possible.
Let’s Move Together
The motion kids reclaim after chemo is a powerful symbol of resilience. And the motion we create—through giving, sharing, and taking action—becomes their momentum.
September may be ending, but childhood cancer certainly is not. Beating childhood cancer requires our attention throughout the year. So, let’s keep kids moving. Let’s put money in motion. Because survival is the first step, but thriving is the goal.
With hope,
