In February of this year our daughter, Neva, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a type of cancerous tumor that almost always affects children. Neva is three years old, with crazy hair and a crazy personality to match. Neva has not skipped a beat since her diagnosis. She continues to smile and play and dream of being a princess. To our family, she already is a Warrior Princess!
It is hard to not feel helpless when bad things happen to innocent children, but the truth is that we aren't helpless. There are so many things that we can do to stay positive and help provide comfort and support to those fighting through this disease.
